IS CHUKA UNIVERSITY TURNING MASTERS STUDENTS INTO LECTURES??????
It has been almost three weeks since the students report back to the school and no proper learning have occurred yet.
This is because of the ongoing lectures strike.
Due to this half of the students have opted to return back to their homes while the remaining students have been pleading with the students leaders to consult with the Administration in order to suspend the semester.
The students are claiming that they are running out of money and yet they are doing nothing on the other hand the VC have been saying that the classes are going on but the truth of the matter is that the only people who are coming to classes to teach are the students who are pursuing masters. The qualified lectures still claim that the strike is on.
After a meeting that was held yesterday between the student leaders and the VC ,they came into a conclusion that the students will continue to be in school and classes will resume.The VC claim that if the semester is suspended the following will happen
1.Their will be no long holiday.
2.3rd years will miss attachments.
3.4th years will not graduate.
4.Repayment of rent afresh
But the big question is what if the Government decide to suspend the semester in all public universities will all this not happen?????
