Tiaty MP Asman Kamama narrowly escaped death on Saturday, February 25, after being attacked by suspected Pokot bandits.
The incident, which occurred at Churo area, Baringo North, is said to have happened after the bandits shot arrows at the legislator with one nearly hitting him.
The attack comes just hours after Pokot rustlers shot in the air as Deputy President William Ruto was addressing residents of Bartabwa in Baringo North on Friday, February 24.

Ruto, in return, issued a shoot to kill order on cattle rustlers who have wreaked havoc in the region.
A chief was also killed in the area by the suspected bandits during the time.
Kamama also faced hostile reception at Tangulbei area after being stoned by some of the residents.
