Radio Maisha’s Jalang’o Set To Join Hot 96
Barely a week ago,the blogosphere was awash with news about Jalang’o’s dominance in the radio world.
The lad who started off his radio career as a comedian has worked hard over the years to become the most sort after radio personality in Kenya.
This is according to a list of the most popular radio personalities in Kenya was released by Consumers Insights recently.
It seems his success in radio got the attention of other competing stations which are out to hunt for his signature.
Now,Word on the street has it that the revered Radio Maisha host Jalang’o could be decamping to Royal Media Services owned radio station Hot 96.
According to our highly placed source who sought anonymity, Hot 96 is crafting a new arrangement that will pair Jal ang’oSpeaking to MondayBlues,Jalang’o confirmed the rumour although he did not get deep into the matter.
“Well, it is true that Hot 96 has talked to me but I have not taken a decision yet.
As for now, I am still with Radio Maisha,” Jalang’o said. On how much Hot 96 was offering him, Jalang’o said it was an amount that is “almost irresistible”
.If Hot 96’s move materializes, Jalango and Jeff will be the highest paid radio presenters in the country.and TV personality Jeff Koinange during the breakfast show.
