Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has responded after being attacked by incumbent Evans Kidero
Kidero had claimed Miguna had no voter's card thus could not compete with him in the August election in
a video posted online, Miguna proved he had a genuine voter's card and said he was ready to face off with Kidero Raila Odinga's former aide Miguna Miguna has rubbished claims by Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero that he is not a registered voter.
On Wednesday, March 8, during the JKL show on Citizen TV, Kidero claimed Miguna was not a registered voter and wondered if he even qualified to vie for the seat.
But in a swift response, Miguna posted a video on Facebook with his voter's card and termed Kidero's remarks against him as pure lies.
"I heard the biggest cartel in Nairobi saying that Miguna is not a registered voter in Nairobi.
Ladies and gentlemen this is my voter's card," Miguna said. Miguna said the remarks by Kidero on JKL just showed how desperate he was.
"When you hear that you know that desperation has no end," Miguna said.
Miguna compared himself to former US president Barrack Obama when birthers opposed his candidacy claiming he had no birth certificate.
Miguna said Kenyans should not pay attention to anything Kidero said as the man had no credibility. "I don't pay attention to anything a thief like Kidero Evans says. He has zero credibility. Believe a thief at your own risk," he said.
