Fresh dates for new nominations for the Jubilee party have been announced

Jubilee was forced to cancel primaries countrywide on Friday April 22 due to massive disorganization, chaos and fist fights After cancelling nominations countrywide,
the Jubilee party is back to the drawing board and has announced new dates for fresh primaries. The party nullified nominations in 22 counties on Friday April 22 following confusion and chaos.
The nominations were marred with problems such as delayed delivery of ballot boxes and papers, chaos and the destruction of public property.
Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju ordered the immediate stop to voting and tallying of votes. This came minutes after nominations in six counties were cancelled on the same day, Friday, April 21.
Now fresh nominations have been slated for Monday April 24, Tuesday April 25 and Wednesday April 26. The party has also announced that Deputy President William DP Ruto will oversee the preparations for the same.
He is now at the party headquarters in overseeing preparations for the primaries. The primaries will be conducted as follows:
Monday- Nairobi, Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, Kirinyaga and Nandi.
Tuesday- Lamu, Wajir, Mandera, Marsabit, Turkana, Samburu, Kilifi, Tana River, Mombasa, Kitui, Machakos, Makueni, Bungoma, Busia, Homabay, Migori, Kwale, Garissa, Isiolo, Nyamira, Kajiado, Kiambu, Muranga and Uasin Gishu.
Wednesday- Nyeri, Laikipia Embu, Taita Taveta, Nyandarua, Narok, Nakuru, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, West Pokot and Trans Nzoia.
