The late Nyeri governor Nderitu Gachagua has been brought home

A short service was held for the late Gachagua at the JKIA pavilion grounds and was later transferred to the Lee Funeral Home.

 A brief viewing of the body will be conducted before his burial on Monday, March 6 in Nyeri county.

The late governor passed away at the age of 64 at a London hospital where he had been battling pancreatic cancer.

 President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to attend the burial as Kenyans watch out for the protocol of how governors will be honored in death.
