Bishop Margaret Wanjiru arrested

Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has been arrested

 Wanjiru reportedly stormed a polling centre and destroyed election materials Bishop Margaret Wanjiru was on Wednesday, April 26 arrested after causing drama at City park polling centre in Nairobi.


 The gubernatorial aspirant seeking the Jubilee Party ticket reportedly led her supporters in storming the station and destroying election materials According to Wanjiru, the results at the polling centre had been compromised after marked ballot papers were netted there.



 Following the incident, the bishop who was recently captured on camera dishing out money to voters, was held at the Parklands Police Station.


Her party's Secretary General Raphael Tuju, however, was unaware of Wanjiru's arrest.
